Clinical Mental Health Programme
The WindReach Clinical Mental Health Programme provides accessible, evidence-based Clinical support for children, adolescents and adults who face significant barriers to traditional mental health services.
Combining clinical expertise with WindReach’s unique natural and therapeutic environment, the programme uses experiential approaches that allow individuals to engage in ways that may not be possible within a traditional clinical setting.
Therapeutic interventions include:
- Animal-assisted therapy with horses, goats, sheep and rabbits
- Horticulture and nature-based therapy
- Movement and sensory-integrated activities
- Creative and environmental art therapy
The programme is particularly designed to support individuals who are pre-verbal or non-verbal, experience significant emotional or behavioural challenges, have experienced trauma, or are unable to benefit from conventional office-based therapy.
Working in collaboration with Seaglass Clinical Consulting, participants receive professional assessment, clinical oversight and ongoing progress monitoring. Each participant’s needs are considered individually, with interventions tailored to their communication abilities, strengths and goals.
Through this innovative approach, WindReach aims to improve emotional regulation, resilience, confidence, communication, social engagement and overall quality of life, while creating greater access to mental health care for some of Bermuda’s most underserved populations.
The programme offers more than therapy—it creates opportunities for connection, inclusion, growth and meaningful participation in a supportive environment.
